Laneway Cyclery rider with cargo bike

Built in bike shops, for bike shops.

Most booking software charges a flat fee every month and books repairs like haircuts. It has no idea what a drop-off is, or a rush job, or a quiet July. We built Velobook inside working Sydney bike shops to fix that.

Cheaper. Faster. Built for the season.

01

Priced for your season

A dollar a booking, no monthly fee. A quiet winter costs next to nothing. A busy spring is capped at 100 bookings.

02

Shipped every week

New features land every week, in the order shops ask for them. Email us what your bench is missing and a founder replies.

03

Built for the bench

Drop-off windows, rush jobs, parts on order, multi-day hire. The parts a general booking tool skips are the parts Velobook is built around.

Easy for them.
Complete
for you.

Your own booking page. The customer picks a service, a drop-off window and describes the job. Paste the link in your Google profile, your Instagram bio and your site.

  • About 40 seconds to book. No app, no account, no password.
  • They only see windows with room left. A full window says so.
  • Reminders go out a week before and the day before, on their own.
  • Deposits are optional. They go through your own Stripe or Square account, straight to you.

One app. Every kind of job.

Repairs first. Hire, custom builds and workshop nights run from the same calendar and the same booking link.

A mechanic torquing a stem bolt with the bike up in the stand.

Repairs & service

Drop-off windows with a job cap each, a rush option the customer pays for, and a service history on every bike.

The hire fleet racked and ready to go out.

Hire & rental

Hourly, half-day, daily and weekly rates on the same calendar as your repairs. Daily and weekly rates combine to the cheapest total: a ten-day hire is a week plus three days.

A hand-built wheel mid-lace, spokes still loose.

Custom & quotes

Line-item quotes from your services and parts. The customer approves and pays from their phone, and the quote lands in your POS as a parked sale.

Hands-on at a maintenance night, working a rear derailleur.

Workshops & classes

Maintenance nights with a seat cap per session. One customer can book for a group, and a full night takes a waitlist.

Booked, tracked, done.

1.Booked
The booking page at step two of five, asking when works for you: pick up or drop off, a calendar of the dates the shop can take, and each drop-off window showing how many slots are left or that it is full.

A customer picks a window

What, when, who. About 40 seconds, no account, no app. Repairs, hire, classes, fittings and tours all take the same few steps.

2.Tracked
The workboard's first three columns: two jobs booked, one in progress, and one waiting on parts for thirteen days.

It moves through your day

Every job lands on the Workboard. Repairs run booked, in progress, waiting on parts, ready. Hire runs due out, with customer, coming back. Each kind of work gets its own columns.

3.Done
The shop inbox: a list of customer conversations beside an open thread telling a customer their full service is complete and the bike is ready to collect, with their reply saying they will swing by around 5pm.

You tell them it's ready

Mark the job ready and the customer gets the email. The note, the parts and the price stay on the bike's history for next visit.

It all adds up

Repairs, hire, classes and custom work roll into one Analytics tab: busiest windows, revenue by type, and what to staff for next season.
